Tea leaf reading is often fondly remembered as a divination tool that our grandmothers and great grandmothers used, but tasseomancy is quite a significant and powerful tool for Ancestor Work and tapping into one’s own intuitive nature through Energy Work.

I am honoured to have given hundreds of Tea Leaf Readings and I now travel across the province of Ontario with a well-known Psychic Fair and participate in other professional Holistic Healing Events throughout the year.

During my regular weekdays, I get to work with people over Zoom giving both mediumship readings and intuitive readings. I love working with business professionals, assisting with intuitive guidance and providing potential outcomes, by tapping into energy, loved ones passed, and Spirit guides, as has all famously been employed over the centuries by Kings and Queens, Prime Ministers and Presidents, as well as law enforcement and top executives throughout the world.

I have also participated in Spirit Investigation events alongside well-respected Ghost Hunters as a Tea Leaf Reader, and have led groups in candlelit workshops teaching Mediumistic Drawing in haunted historical buildings. I love what I do!

Readings by Zoom and In Person

Tea Leaf Reading allows for a beautiful ritual where two people get together for a reading, the Reader and the Consultant, but reading the tea leaves is just like any other psychic tool such as Tarot, Runes, or a Crystal Ball. Spirit Guides and loved ones who have passed on are not restricted by earthly boundaries, and nor are we when in a tea leaf reading, whether remote by Zoom, or with an in person reading.

My formal training was in Fashion Design with an emphasis on Illustration and sewing using Haute Couture methods, hand stitching and embroidery. I have also been a painter for many years using acrylics, watercolours, gouache and inks.

One note of interest is that I was photographing and painting vintage tea cups well before I stumbled across the fantastical world of tea leaf reading! At the time I was recovering from cancer treatments and painting tea cups on canvas brought me comfort somehow, as I now feel tea leaf readings bring comfort to my clients with each and every reading I do. Nowadays, I’m thrilled to be able to say tea leaf reading is my primary work, but I do bring my tea cup artwork with me to fairs and events whenever possible, and I do still occasionally participate in art shows whenever there is a good fit with like-minded people and a spark of inspiration.

My artwork has been purchased by people all over the world.

My most recognized painting, Guided by Starlight, has been shared many times by the popular Facebook page, Ravenous Butterflies as well as on Instagram with well over a million interactions, and I’m so thankful for the support and exposure to so many like-minded people.

I search for empowered women through family lineage and stories of other strong women in our past history that inspire me. I search for an ancestor, real or imagined, who would have perhaps been considered a Suffragette, or some semblance of one, a rebel, a woman who didn’t follow the “rules” set out for her and without her permission, great-great-grandmothers who could have been mistaken for Witches, Healers, Magical Women, Mystics. It’s possible one of them might have even been a Queen. Most definitely a Feminist and an Advocate for others.

I search for the ghosts of women who were Artists and Outliers, like I am today. Women who believe in a World of Magic and the Power of Wonder, Courage and Strength. I feel as if I am doing the work of my ancestors with every design, illustration and stitch.
